A buyer can buy ads and "subscribe" to the purchase, meaning they will automatically renew their purchase and be charged every cycle (month, day, whatever) until they say stop.

Example: There is a banner ad that sells for $100 a month. I buy it and "subscribe". I am charged $100 right away, my ad runs for a month, I'm automatically charged another $100, it runs for a month, etc. A couple months later I manually cancel my subscription and the next month's ad goes back on the market.

I noticed in the "welcome" email with my account information that my password was included in plain text. This is a bad security practice because if someone gains access to my email, they would also have the means to gain access to my isocket account. I know it's convenient, but it's also insecure.

User Ads would be ads supplied by the users. This should go into review by isocket, through a standard automated approval process. Then the campaign starts.

Would allow me to track conversions, traffic and drop-offs

Native Android applications are able to provide advertisers with location related information for high value locally targeted advertising. This advertising could be narrowly targeted to within a given distance of any advertiser location. Local advertisers could then target locally.

Many publishers already use OpenX (fka OpenAds) for their ad serving, but would love to sell their own ad inventory as well.

Perhaps a plugin, widget, app, etc that makes it easy to keep your OpenX installation and integrate it with isocket?

Some publishers / ad sellers also run email newsletters. It'd be great to be able to sell display ads in those newsletters, even on a simple "sponsor this newsletter" basis.

Would be very cool to mix web banner and email banner campaigns together in a package.

Some sellers might like to offer ad sizes other than those pre-listed in your list of IAB sizes.

Recognize this makes it much harder for advertisers since they have to make a non-standard ad creative.

Allow publishers to designate approved buyers who don't need their creative updates to go through the approval process.

Many sellers already have a pdf Media Kit they send out to potential buyers via email. Should be able to upload this PDF to isocket and have it attached to a group's profile page for potential buyers to see.

What fees are there for the different methods for buyers + payout?

Create standardized buttons, images and other tools that can be used by publishers when promoting their inventory on isocket.

For example: an auto-generated banner ad we can select as remnant, as an alternative to the gray "advertise here" one.

Ex: banners we can hotlink from our own website /advertise pages showing "buy ads on isocket" or something.

Anyone have ideas?

If I'm a "quantified" publisher, it would be cool to pull that info / graphs onto my group profile. Or at least link to my Quantcast profile.

I'd like to add one / multiple URLs as links on my group profile page. One of them could link to my website's .com/advertise page. One would link to my Quantcast page. Etc.
